Children are one of the best parts of our family. We love teaching them.
About QCC Kids
Our Vision: To provide a safe and engaging environment for children to connect with God through worship, prayer, teaching, creativity, and prophetic training; working alongside parents to provide opportunities for each child to grow in their spiritual gifts.
Our kids ministry started in July of 2013 with 1 class. We now have 4 classes serving children from 15 months – 13 years of age.

QCC Kids Ministry Coordinator:
Brandie McMillan is married to Chris McMillan, and they have a daughter and a son. Brandie moved to Charlotte in the fall of 1998 to attend MorningStar’s School of Ministry. As a student, she found herself loving the children’s ministry and volunteered as a teacher in their 4-5 year old class.
During her last year of ministry school, she worked at MorningStar Ministires as the administrative assistant to the church pastor, Robin McMillan. Shortly after, the ministry’s children’s pastor, Bobby Hussey, asked her to start a home group for Jr. High girls and to be part of a team leading the Jr. High class. She volunteered as a leader with this group for 8 years.
Working and volunteering within the ministry allowed Brandie to understand the administrative and pastoral side of the ministry. She learned how to build a program, release kids into ministry and provide opportunities for the kids to connect with God. Her experience and her love for working with children have equipped her for building a children’s ministry here at Queen City Church.
